Gee, do we know of any retired engineering types here with lots of
time on their hands who could whip something up? (Note: I want the
NY/NJ distribution franchise.)
With the Sony HVR-HD1000 series (HDV), and now the Panasonic AG-HMC70
(AVCHD), maybe Canon will come out with something, although I can't
recall the last time that Canon made a full-size, shoulder-mount form
factor camcorder.

Lack of a LANC jack is one of the more commonly-voiced criticisms that
I hear of the HV20.
Personally, I like the fact that they didn't use a blank space in the
model number. :-)
