That's just it. The very best top end LCD is almost as good as a CRT, and I
had the luxury to try a large sample. So, I really don't consider any of
them good yet. The only benefit to LCD is saving on desk space. I'll give
LCDs another five years before they become a usable option for serious photo
editing.

I usually pick them up surplus by the pallet. Try any of your local
computer/asset recovery firms.
