The best advice is this: Eizo if you can afford them, NEC for a little less,
and then "search and destroy." I'm using an HP 2065 with an IPS panel, and
it's very nice. I"d like bigger, but didn't want to spend a fortune. And
yes, the difference between an IPS panel monitor and TN is HUGE when it
comes to photo editing.
