Well, I'm not doing _any_ photo editting at all, so that would not be a
deciding factor to go for an IPS vs another type of panel.
I suppose the links above explain this, but I haven't looked into them, so
forgive my following question: what other advantages does an IPS panel
have over the other panel technologies?
