OF COURSE NOT. But since we're not talking about
illumination applications here, that little fact remains utterly
irrrelevant. The ONLY thing that matters, in either CRT
or LCD color displays, is what you get in terms of the primary
chromaticities and the white point. NONE of these displays
produces a "full spectrum of light at a linear level" when they
produce white. You are aware of the fact that the color CRT
is still an RGB device, right?
