Hi guys,
I'm running a company that rents plasma screen for exhibitions and
events (and other stuff too).
The major problem is that when I go to install the screen, I've to
install the video&audio cables from the wall where I've to install the
screen to the room where the dvd player will be placed.
This is such a pain in the ass where this room isn't adjacent the wall
where the screen is.
Sometimes I send the cables to the stand fitter the put install them
under the floor (and in the 50% of the cases after the exhibitions,
these cables go lost or broken), when this is not possible, I've to
spend a lot of time installing the cable upon the walls or wherever
it's possible.
I thought to install a really SLIM dvd player between the plasma and
the wall. Our wall mount bracket has about 4cm (4x35x40cm), so the
player has to by thinner and must have the cd charger in front of it
(to have the possibility to change dvd even if the plasma is already
mounted).
I was also thinking about using a usb dvd to connect to....??? to
what??? is there something, a player or I don't know what that can
read a usb dvd that can fit my wall mount bracket???
Thanks,
Andrea
