Recently had a "call" from a computer asking to call bank.
Dialled the norm cust service no (not one given by computer) and sure enough
some scrote had tried a 1 transaction and then tried to get mobile phone
top-up afterwards. This was flagged and hence the call.
Hence as a result I have seriously reduced the credit limit on each card to
help reduce the liability in case this happens again.
Yes I have been a "play" customer many years now and probably spent
thousands over those years with no problem. Strangely the card I used for
play was NOT the one that was used in the fraud.
This is also the one reason why I NEVER use debit cards online.
