I have two Sony VCRs for sale:
SVO-2000: SVHS, etc
EV-S500: Hi8, etc.
They are both in good trim, but have not been used for the last two
years. They have both had problems in the past and I have had them
repaired, and when they were last in use they both behaved well, but the
Hi-8 deck had an output problem on one of the outputs (I can't really
remember, sorry, but I can check if someone is interested).
I only have ONE remote (the one that came with the SVO-2000).
I have the SVO-2000 manual somewhere.
I also have a large number of VHS, S-VHS, 8mm and Hi8 tapes which I
could include in any sale.
I'm just looking to sell them off at a reasonable price. Please note
that I'm in Canada, so shipping to the US could be expensive.
Please note that they will probably a good cleaning (heads, etc).
I have the original box to the SVO-2000. It's seen better times, but
it's there. :-)
I'm willing to take a 'decent' Hi8 camera in trade. I only need it to
patch some special Hi8 tapes over to DVD now and then. I don't really
care if it's cosmetically clean, just as long as it works well (audio
AND video). Size doesn't matter as I won't be using it as a camera at
all. If such a camera is offered and it has arcane connections it would
be nice to have the relevant cords. Battery doesn't matter, but an
adapter to run is absolutely necessary. TC would be nice, but not
required. Again, a remote would be nice, but not required.
Other trades would be considered, but I'm not interested in another VCR.
