I would most definitely go with a HD camera, but I would hold off on
going with an HD delivery method until the smoke clears a bit. By
capturing in HD and editing in HD, you'll ensure getting your content
for the future, plus when you down convert it always looks good, even
though it's delivered in SD format.

Also.. There's other methods of HD delivery these days too.

DivX, which are small HD files that play in Windows Media with a codec
from divx.com. Divx can be embedded on a website, given to your
audience via download, CD, or DVD data disc. Divx files can be played
on any PC, Mac, or compatible Home DVD players that are cheap in price
these days.

Flash, HD content can be compressed using Adobe Flash, and played
though websites. Any website host supports this, and any person with a
web browser can view these.
