That 58% is users per age group. The number of actual households is still
at about 51%, meaning that, statistically, half your relatives might not
be able to watch your HD streamed greetings - and among the other half,
many won't bother for the sake of convenience.

The article also includes ISDN (128-144kbps) as "broadband", which, if
you ask me, is like calling a digital still camera with movire mode a
"video camera".

Heck, I have 5 mbps and there's Hd content I can't watch because of
latency. If I were to send streamed greetings, I'd go for simplicity and
use Youtube or something similar.
