Perhaps you need to explain why you "dread" transfering
the video into your computer? Many of us do it all the
time without the slightest fear (or even second thought).

From the brief description you have given here, I would
have to agree that buying a FireStore (or similar gadget)
sounds like a waste of $$$ for your situation.
