I use the FS-100 for our HVX200. It was not cheap for sure. Bit I do enjoy
using it. It is a bit bulky.
I won't ever return to using tape. Thankfully. It does complicate archival
though. But not insurmountable.
As to whether it is a good idea for you .. who knows. It has its own quirks
I am sure. But our has worked quite well so far.
