I see in the 1997 season DVDs, is a concealed swastika,
"swastika" being more respectably known as the "hooked cross",
is on much of that season's material (don't know about other
seasons). It is on the main stage slightly to the right of
Mr. Green during some of his speeches. It is rustic looking,
perhaps in an attempt to appeal to backwoods nazism. So what
is the meaning of this? What faction (Hitler, Goering,
Goebbels, Strasser, Roehm, Darre, etc.) or function does the
producers and CBC/PBS, etc., represent, or are the producers
of the show merely exploiting nazi dollars, (sometimes worth
more than american).
