Was the file you downloaded called something like this?
Blah.S03E22.HDTV.XViD-Caph

If so this is just the Torrents pointer file and you have to then use it to
download the avi file. So you will need a progam like Azureus or uTorrents
etc.

There are no files that actually have a suffix called caph
