If you have any other browser as your defaut instead if IE, the install
craps out before actually installing.
I assume it is at a time when the installer is trying to connect to the net.
It's about the 4th or 5th click into the install I think.

3(!) days of trying to instal that beee-atch until finally hours and hours
of googling uncovered one forum post of a guy saying make sure IE is the
default.
