It is an interesting device (Sanford and Davis "Steady Stick") that is
solid,
flexible (in the good way...;-), and sturdy. The belt is substantial, as are
all the parts - which is why I may sell mine (it is overkill for a one pound
camcorder and it adds quite a bit, relatively, to the size and weight of my
video pack). It is rated to hold up to 30 pounds or so, so it should work
well for you. It does make for a more stable video image. If interested,
it is mint in original box, $80 + $10 shipping in US.
