I tried today with the RYG output to a VHS recorder whike recording.
Nothington came out. In Playback mode from the same output, I can view the
ouptut on a TV.

Thanks for you help. I have a friend that bought a DV camcorder with
Firewire output, to take movie of his bowling team and hate having to change
tapes. His Sony Camcorder DCR TRV50 list for 1500 dollars.
My Sony DCR SR80 has a hard drive but list for 800 dollars. he is
interesting is a trade. If the trade works out, I will be able to output to
a DVD recorder. Uy Ulead software is simular to PE, Ulead is now own by
Adobe. I think that I will be able to Pre-fab the title.
