Sure, nappy is less than helpful. But that's beside the point. As
someone that recently had heads replaced on my 150 because of drops,
the question is much more immediate than merely academic.
Like Mr. Tapeguy says is the case in his part of the country.... most
of the guys 'round Seattle use Panasonic. When asked they trot out the
explanation of the wet versus dry lube. I think its pretty well
established that these days that explanation does not carry water.
We wanted Mr. Tapeguy to supply the data which he said he had. To this
date, he has not come up with it. I haven't flamed Mr. Tapeguy, but
other people interested in the subject and I would like to see the
data which shows that Panasonic is really the tape we should be using.
Simply saying "everybody uses it" ain't enough.
