Well, logically, if you can download then that means that other users
can upload or you wouldn't be able to download. So I'm wondering what
is going on with your connection.
In my case, on OpenNap I can download and I notice other people
uploading from me as well, but I don't get as many uploads as I used
to with the peer network. But those who do upload don't generally time
out.
I'm wondering if it's just because the OpenNap networks that I connect
to, and I connect to about eight or nine at once, have far fewer total
users than the old Winmx peer network did, so therefore there are
fewer people available to upload my files.
