Well, I suppose I can relate. I just bought a really fancy car, BMW
645 Convertible, a few months ago, because I "just wanted it".
Anyways, it wasn't all that indulgent. I am speculating that it will
retain most of it's value if I keep it in mint condition.

Perhaps you were feeling lousy. I don't know. Usually, if I want
something, I'll usually look at the prices that I see, and if they are
at a price I'd be willing to buy it for, I make the purchase, even if
there's like a much much better bargain somewhere else or sometime
later. As long as I'm willing to pay for it at that price, I'm
satisfied, and I don't feel sorry for missing out on a better deal.
It's just that I'm not willing to pay $100 for any movie.. unless...

I don't know... I might do it, if the movie came with at least 3 DVDs
one with the movie, and the others a documentary of the subject, and
all the other extras, and if the DVD box was artistically done, the
book-pamphlet nicely done, and also came with a beautiful illustrated
coffee book or something.
Otherwise, I'll just hope no one likes the movies I like so I can see
them on the bargain bins!
