Yeah, but you're going DAD as opposed to DDD, and you have to do this
in real time. If the industry stops wanting me to purchase their
products, all they have to do is force me to jump through such stupid
hoops.

Agreed, and while I respect IP and the rights associated with
ownership, the industry itself is the strongest reason *NOT* to be
their customer.

Better keep some old machines around; the hardware is quickly getting
to the point where ME won't install.
