Very simple even online retailers with good reputations can be
supplied with faulty goods by the manufacturer or goods with
parts not in the box that should be in the box. They then send the
goods out to the customer who has to wait at best a day before he
gets these goods who then finds they are faulty and needs to either
send an email saying the goods are faulty or as in many cases today
spend a fortune on a 0870 call to them. The customer then has to send
the goods back and before the customer has finished it is a week
before he gets the goods he wants in good condition .Even if something
I have bought goes faulty I can take it back and get it replaced and
be back home in less than an hour I can't do that if I bought from
some store 200 miles away .
I go to Scan and I get the chance to examine my goods before I even
sign for them has you can in most other outlets like PC Word etc and
if they are in someway faulty they are replaced on the spot and I am
back home within half an hour .
Has I said Scan are ok if you can go personally for whatever you want
buying mail order is a no no .
