In the near term, HD will only be available via Sky Satellite AFAIK.
The service that starts in the new year requires a new HD compatible Sky+
box (the only HD box available on launch will be a PVR type box like Sky+)
which is expected to cost around 300-400
And is expected to require a premium HD subscription in addition to the
normal sky subscription. This is expected to cost 10 a month on top of your
sky subscription.
I don't know if NTL have any HD plans.
But one assumes if they do, it will be a premium product like Sky to start
with.
