Thanks for that, but that was the first place I looked. Certainly a helpful
site.

Anyway, a new potential problem has come to light: my TV doesn't 'do' NTSC.
Not a problem with my old (now broken) CyberHome player, as you can set this
to output a PAL signal whether you're playing an import or not. Does the
SV-1001 have this capability? (Does anyone have any idea what this feature
is called?)

Once more, if anyone has first-hand experience of this machine, please offer
your opinions. Thanks again.
