Went to see Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe yesterday, very enjoyable, one
of the trailers however had what looked like the worst film ever made.
Lassie, rarely do you see such crude marxist propoganda. Class prejudiced
was writ right through the trailer, if the hatred was based on anything
other then class, the producers would be locked up.
Summary. Evil foxhunting toff (with requisite red coat), decides to kill
lovely little doggie, lovely little doggie runs away, to be found by
wonderful working class boy, whose family are about to be made unemployed
because 'they' are closing down the minning pits.
For some unexplainable reason, the evil fox hunting man who wanted the
lovely little doggie dead, wants to take the lovely little doggie from
wonderful working class boy, to erm, kill it.
Somewhere along the way, lovely doggie encounters lovely musical gypsies
suffering racial prejudice from evil foxhunting person.
All working class characters are salt of the earth wonderful people (except
those that work for evil foxhunting guy), with strong loving families and
communities, (think jolly O'irish people in Titanic) all the foxhunting
guys family are evil selfish people inflicting misery purely for pleasure.
Complete and utter piffle.
