Just wondering. I have been renting a TV which has again decided to go on
the tube level with one of the guns deciding to slowly not turn on
immediately when the set is started up cold.
however, I think the replacement set which is a Phillips will only have 2
scart sockets at the back. So looking to make sure I can plug everything in
that needs to be plugged in. As in:
Gamecube
Phillips DVD
Liteon DVD recorder
Samsung STB
VCR
However, I think I can get away in multi-chaining the dvd recorder to stb
and then tv, then need something to connect the dvd player and console
together on the second socket.
I was thinking on the one Argos has in their new catalogue, item number
534/4280. Have these improved over the years as I have a old basic scart to
3 which I got from Tandy once (When they were like in business.) and I
don't want to go through that darkening weak signal effect you get when you
use such an adaptor.
The other question is which is the best cheapest 5.1/DTS speaker only setup
since this phillips will only have virtual surround as this Tosh is going so
no more 5.1 for me for the time being. Thanks in advance for any help.
