The rule-of-thumb 13.7GB/hour of DV comes out to 3.8MB/sec
Since DV is compressed 5:1, 5x 3.8MB = around 19MB/sec.
This is close enough to your rough recollections that I don't
see any particularly "fishy" about the numbers.
