Hello,
I have a FCP problem and I wonder if anyone else in this group may have
had it. A month ago I completed a FCP project. The client was happy
with the project and I needed space for another project, so I deleted
my render files. Yesteday the client asked for some small tweaks to
the project, so I started to re-render the files. It said it would
take 3 hours. With 3 minutes left on the render the whole system froze
up. I had to force quit out of FCP and re-start the computer. When I
tried the render again, it said that it would take 12 hours. Thinking
that this can't be right, I cancelled the render and tried again. This
time the time shot up to 24 hours. I cancelled and repeated several
times until I was told it would take 4 days. Finally, I deleted all
the render files and turned the system off. I am going to try again
tonight, but was wondering if any of you had encountered a similiar
problem and how did you deal with it?
