I wasn't exactly implying that the K8N-NEO4 is *the* board to get, just
that's the one I chose. In contrast to what someone else said, mine did
need the BIOS upgrade. But keep in mind I got this a couple or three
months ago, not too long after the X2 chips starting coming out in
sufficient numbers. The boards in stock now probably come with the new
BIOS. I think it was about $560 I paid for the X2 chip retail package.
You say you use Adobe? I think it may have been in this group I read
that Premiere is more dependent upon the video processor while Vegas is
more dependent upon the main CPU, so your mileage may vary.
