I'm on the aforementioned 2000 Athlon right now and it has about a three
year old AIW card. Worst expenditure I made on this machine. Yes, I
*can* get it to capture but it's easier to use my camera as the A/D
converter and capture it as a digital stream. The TV output is difficult
to manage and the quality sucks beyond reason. That $300 is much better
off invested in the processor/MB IMHO.
