Try reversing the field order on that portion of the video.

Did you capture the video (as in analog-to-digital capture), or copy/rip the
video off the CD/DVD?

I suggest you get the source videos in their original format (just borrow
the tapes). If they are in DVD format, they have already suffered MPEG
compression.
