Yes, It imported via a Sony TRV330 last year on multiple occassions. That
was before SP2 and other upgrades.
But it has always struggled to recognize firewire hardware. I have often
rebooted many times before it would "find" the new hardware. A reinstall
may help this problem, but it would cause many others since I have
downloaded, installed and upgraded so many programs via the web. I would
hate to try and reinstall all the different programs I have. It may be
cheaper and easier to just get a basic PC system and set up JUST for video,
and give it web access via wireless. Leaving off ALL none video related
programs.
Should be able to do that for under $1,000.00 .
