You're right. I got into a Canopus Forum board last night and
discovered just there were two other people with win98 that use the
units with good results. I should have looked harder there before
asking here :-(
The ADVC300 looks like the unit to get. Have you found them to be
reliable units? My ADS Pyro A/VLink died very quickly........

Not interested in commercial DVDs, although many individuals seem
to be. Canopus' products look like the way to go for analog
conversion!
