I have words I could express to you, but after reading your reply and
showing your obvious inability to use basic reading comprehension, I'll
pass.

Whatever you call it, it is STILL Avid. Don't like it? That sounds like
a "personal" problem. When MS "observes" another company and use the
products but with MS label, it is MS. When another company buys another,
it becomes the product of that parent company. That's the way it goes.
And that is what it is. But you have a problem with that. Fine. I look
at the box and guess what it says. Also, if I need help, who do I call.
FAST (since it was orginally THEIR product)? Pinnacle (they bought
FAST)? OR..... Avid (who now OWNS Pinnacle and markets Liquid as AVID).
Sounds like a little jealousy here.

Wow... 90% of Hollywood use it. I am sooooooo nervous! But, if you
weren't so blinded by your "rage", and read with comprehension, you
would really know how I feel. I clearly stated (but you conviently
either chose to ignore it or couldn't understand it) some people are
into name recognition and with that, have a perceived value attached to
it. They are not so much worried about the finished product because of
their preceived ideas of said editing software. Me, I have always said
that it is the editor that produces the video and the soft/hardware are
the tools. You can have the best tools, but that still doesn't make you
a carpenter.
But then, you have an agenda. Sorry to burst you little bubble.
I edit with an Avid product.
I feel so sorry for you, hating a product so much. Wow...
