Premiere Pro has a filter that does the same thing. I've used it to match
shots that were made by the same camera, but in different positions so that
color temperature varied (e.g., shooting into the sun on one, and with the
sun behind on another). The software did a pretty decent job, but it still
required some manual tweaking.
