Nappy's remarks were clouded by his obvious dislike of the woman. The
fact is, Omorosa is with the possible exception of Paris Hilton, the
hottest celebrity going. Didn't realize this myself until I visited her
site. She's been in no less than 4 reality shows since Apprentice, has
done tens of highly paid guest appearances, and has all kinds of things
in the works including an Oprah-like talk show.
Is she a hot property right now? Yes. Will she crash and burn? No
telling.
And there really is no telling more the reason why I was baffled by
Nappy's knee-jerk response. Hollywood is chock full of rags-to-riches
stories. That's what Hollywood is all about, isn't it?
Was Marilyn Monroe a classically trained Shakespearean actor? Queen
Latifa demands millions for her acting roles. How do you explain her
success? Remember that guy Tiny Tim? He made millions.
And what about the pantheon of stand-up comedians who were nobodies
until someone put them in a sit-com?
How long has Roseanne Barr been in the big money?
This is not rocket science. Put Omorosa in the right movie, sitcom,
play, tv talk show format and she could be the next Oprah.
Speaking of Oprah I'd like Nappy to use his tea leaves or Tarot cards
to predict when her run is going to end.
