I haven't "pushed" it yet. Still using 6.1 for work. When I have free
time, I fire it up on the other machine. I have only done "basic" stuff
with it. It is stable as far as this goes. I have SonicFire Pro for the
music, so I haven't tried Smartsound yet (and this is one of the reasons
why I bought the upgrade. Integrated SS). I also bought it for the
compositing features, and, since I am very happy with 6.1... and want
future upgrades, it will have to be Avid.
If you go to the Avid forums, people are having some issues. Avid said
they are coming out with SP soon to address some of these.

I upgraded when I had DV500. The price was $55 for 5.5. It took a while
to get used to the interface, but once that hurdle was over... I loved
the program.
