You are quite right John, Canopus has produced another stunning set of
products. Trouble is some in this group don't want to hear how good working
in HDV can be from someone who has actually used it professionally for
broadcast and in arduous locations to boot! It seems to be "de rigueur" to
slate HDV in favour of over hyped pseudo usable products from a.n.other
camera manfuacturer. The masturbatory language descibing the ability to
record 4 mins of oversaturated video onto expensive memory cards is only
worthy of ridicule. But that marketing led drivel finds it way into this
group by a few unquestioning individuals. They know who they are...

The myopic clique that this newsgroup attracts generally fall into one of
two categories; either ignorant or incompetent. Some fall into both!
