I have set-up my DVD recorder according to the maunufacturers
specifications.
However, I am not completely satisfied with the set-up.
My DVD recorder was a gift from my son and I hate to let him know that
I'm a bit didappointed.
I had hoped/planned to simply run coax from my provider, go
into/through my VCR and through my recorder (DVD) and then into my TV,
by-passing the AV cables.
I still want to use my VCR for BOTH dubbing/playing VHS tapes and
movies and record programs off of TV.
I don't feel that recording some of the programs on DVD is worth it.
I'm mainly referring to "Soaps" that my wife enjoys watching and a few
off of channels like the History Channels.
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Papa Bear
