You are what psychiatrists call a "hoplophobe". That's a person who 
has an irrational fear of weapons. It's the hoplophobe we need to be 
concerned about, not the switchblade collector. According to Freud: 
 
"A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional 
maturity." The wish is father to the fear, i.e. the fear of weapons 
arises from an unconcious impulse or wish to do something 
socially-unacceptable with them. This is combined  with a lack of 
mature coping mechanisms to deal with these feelings. Ever notice just
