I found this http://tinyurl.com/cnhgq that states it will do -R and -RW, so
it looks like you would be safe using that type of media. What I have found
is that many players will do both + and - even though the specs say - only.
My JVC is exactly like that, the book on states - media but it plays them
all. -R media is generally more universal when it comes to players, not so
with burners in pc's.
