I don't know about the loading but couldn't you use UHF 'tee' connectors
across the aerial input of each DVD Recorder and if you have three SCART
connectors on your tv, then take the SCART outputs of each recorder ?

[DVD1] [DVD2] [DVD3]
If loading is a problem then there are powered splitter boxes for single
aerial in and six UHF tv sockets out so three tv outs could connect to
each UHF in on your DVD recorders.
I've not tried serial connection as in;
aerial/antenna -> aerial in(DVD1)
-> (DVD1) aerial out-> aerial in(DVD2)
-> (DVD2) aerial out-> aerial in(DVD3)
Tuning each modulator to a slightly different band to stop intereference
might be the order of the day.
Just a thought!
Richard.
