If you frame the complaint correctly, and with a little diplomacy,
they'll likely give you a credit to watch the film (or any other film)
again. They get to write it off as a loss, and it's not like it hurts
them for business in any way. In fact, it would show them to be very
customer oriented.
Come at them with an attitude, and the theater management can turn
into folks even more stupid than apparently the projectionist is that
caused your complaint to arise.
