The Torme estate probably wants a gabillion million dollars for his
appearances and songs. Remember, when Night Court came on, talkies
just barely existed. Nobody, not even an Apollo astronaut could
conceive of a 5.25 inch disk putting out 480 lines of progressive scan
resolution and lasting nearly forever. Who can blame their
shortsightedness?
