I am considering buying the 1GB iRiver T30 MP3 player.
My question is - once I record music from mic or line-in, can I copy the
file from T30 to my PC (using Windows Explorer, or by other means)? Some
reports seem to suggest that this is not possible. If my PC can see the T30
as an external drive, can I not copy ANY file from T30 to PC by dragging and
dropping using Windows Explorer?
I am in Sydney; my understanding is that units sold in Australia are
Universal Mass Storage device (Windows Explorer sees it as an external
drive) whereas those sold in US and Europe are different - use the MTP
protocol. And hence units sold here may behave differently. I am wondering
if the problem stated above applies only to US/Europe.
