As a Christmas gift to myself, I bought the CyberHome DVR 1200. My
"legal" DVD's play just fine. I have DirectTV and I was hoping to
burn recordings of my favorite shows and Pay-Per-View Movies. The
picture quality of the disks are Ok, but the music sountrack makes a
"warbling" sound. My TV doesn't handle Dolby Surround Sound. I
did read through the manual and turned the Surround Sound setting off
on the DVR, but I still hear the warbling. Even when I record in HQ
mode, I still have problems with it. As a newly turned fortysomething,
the effect is actually nostalgic. For the generation that grew up
watching VHS tapes in school, you will never know the sound of the
strip loosing tension in the film projector. LOL. Is this this
something I will just be stuck with on this unit?
Thanks in Advance - Scott
