Well, I am a 'pro' I guess. I make my living producing video. Doesn't mean
I know what I'm talking about always. However, I don't believe anyone makes
a camera rigged as you describe as a stock item. I'm sure the mounting of
the top handle is custom. Now, you be more specific about what your
requirements are, what your budget is, whether camera weight is important,
whether you mean an external gyro-stabilizer or the internal anti-shake
feature? Are XLR microphone jacks important. Will you be using an
on-camera microphone. How important is having a large viewfinder? Wide
angle & fish-eye lenses are extra cost accessories that can be had at a
range of prices for any MiniDV camera.
Admittedly I have never seen a "skate camera" rig. Neither have most of the
other professionals here, I suspect. So give us more information or quit
your bitching.
