I have a Toshiba D-VR3. This is a very high function unit but I seem
to have major problems playing something I recorded on this machine
(DVD-R) on other players. My car dvd player just locks up, my pc
throws an error message in windows media player, other players it just
spins and does not play anything. I thought it might be just this unit
so i picked up a D-VR4 and it seems to do the same thing. I tried with
FujiFilm DVD-R 8x and RIData 8X DVR-R and both did the same thing in
each player. Does Toshiba have a compatibile problem with other
players. The Toshiba player played the recording fine.
