From the U.S. wholesaler of these boxes (Aimsat DS-3000)
Hi,
Thanks for the email. The DS3000 has not been manufactured for the past
5 years. I sure don't have any software or hardware for that matter,
for this receiver. I have one sitting in my office that has the same
problem. I guess those receivers did not turn out to be good receivers.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
So that's the only info I have on them. I guess it's a lost cause.
If someone has any files for the Aimsat DS-3000, I wish you'd post
them here, or I'll give you my e-mail address and you can email
them to me direct. If they work, I don't mind sending you a few
bucks through PayPal or something. Without these files I won't be
able to resell this box- which I'd probably only get $25 out of it
anyhow.... so please don't expect a big payoff if you have been
sitting on these files. A large portion of my clientele can't afford
new units, which is why I try to clean up and resell older boxes,
usually just by updating the satellite list.
Thanks, -Web Williams, Myrtle Beach, SC
