The lower half IS a screenshot of disk quality (with "Start" disabled)
I cannot select "4x", all available are "Maximum" and "12x".
Tried both, but the "Start" button is still disabled :-(

Can the programmers of CD-DVD speed be contacted somewhere?

Looks OK to me. Anything special I should check?

The PIE error rate is exacly the same as in CD-DVD scans
(the POE error rate is not used in CD-DVD I think).
